ABOUT THE EVENT
SAN DIEGO’S ONLY MULTI-SENSORY MOVEMENT THAT DONATES MAJORITY
OF THEIR PROCEEDS TO LOCAL NONPROFITS
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On July 24, 2016, Exhibit Ambush (www.ambushevents.com) is producing a multi-sensory
fashion and art event at the Contemporary Art Museum in Lajolla, Ca from 7pm-11pm. The
overall concept is AMBUSH- HOPE Event “An explosion of charity and the arts for
refugees”. Our events focus on giving back to local nonprofits by donating 100% of the ticket
sales to the nonprofit we support. Our creative events, workshops and editorials are risqué,
groundbreaking and inspire those who relish in taking risks.
This event will showcase 2017’s Fall/Winter Avant Garde collections by Carolina Hernandez,
Rebekah LaPlante, Jessica Garcia, Naomi Ramos, and Tanya Jenkins. Our special guest
hostess the talented, Hassina Lor. Natalie Emmons will be our featured singer, performing her
latest hit, “Calling of the Wild” (www.natalieemmons.com). Last but not least, our featured
comedian, Zo Johnson will set the stage on fire with his sensor of humor.
Exhibit Ambush is a local artistic movement that’s all about being creative, with a profound
purpose to give back, mentor the next generation of talent, and support the local community.
We’ve supported local nonprofits such as Amazon Foundation, Susan G. Komen
Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Hidden Treasures Foundation, and this year we’re
looking forward to working with the HOPE Worldwide (https://www.hopeww.org/).
On a purely idealistic level, the concept of people joining forces to change the world is the
overall vision of “Exhibit Ambush”. This year our goal is to assist HOPE Worldwide in
changing the lives of the world’s most poor, sick and suffering. Every time someone purchases a
ticket for the upcoming event, they support and feed a refugee.
